What's Your Unicorn?

As a parent, I love to surprise my children. Holidays, birthdays, or just because. For my daughter's last birthday, we surprised her with a real-life unicorn, Lacy!
She still talks about Lacy several times a week, even a year later. Mom = 1!

My oldest daughter is taking on planning family surprises, and today she asked me a question. "Mom, what's your unicorn? What would delight you as much as having a unicorn show up for your birthday?"
I was stumped. What was my unicorn? What would surprise and delight me so much that I would talk about it every week for over a year?
From that moment, I decided to find my unicorn. Did I ever have one? What was it? Somehow it must have been lost in the hustle of making: making a living, making a family, making a home, making dinner.
Sure, I have things that I like to do, see, and experience, but at a unicorn level? Nothing comes to mind - yet. Just as children do without intention, they invite you into deep thoughts with just a simple question. So, before my next birthday, I'm going to find my unicorn and the extreme childhood delight that it brings.
So, I ask you this question. "What is your unicorn?"
